Encryption, which comes under cryptography, has become essential for protecting sensitive data in banking, healthcare, and national security. Its development and ongoing progress will likely continue to ensure digital communication and data security. Combining steganography and cryptography adds security, conceals, and verifies information. Several approaches combined provide an extra layer of security. Steganography may disguise information, making it harder for an enemy even to realise there is anything to decode, whereas cryptography ensures data integrity and authentication, guaranteeing that data has not been tampered with or altered.
