It is with distinguished honour that the Editorial Board announces the premier release of the JATI Journal, Volume 1, Issue 1. This inaugural publication marks the commencement of our steadfast commitment to disseminating rigorous, peer-reviewed scholarship at the vanguard of computing, engineering, and technological innovation.

In fulfillment of our mandate to advance academic discourse, this first issue curates six foundational studies contributed by esteemed scholars from the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU). The selected manuscripts traverse a diverse yet interconnected spectrum of contemporary technological challenges and advancements.

Specifically, this volume initiates our scholarly conversation with critical evaluations of Internet of Things (IoT) research trajectories and the imperative of cybersecurity awareness within modern social media ecosystems. It further advances specialized technical inquiries, presenting original research on geographic coordinate utilization for wireless sensor network localization and the architectural viability of wireless power supplies for portable devices. Finally, the issue offers comprehensive foundational insights into the structural evolution of programming paradigms and the transformative application of data analytical approaches within the insurance sector.
